Trend Alert: Brightly Colored Gloves

Brightly colored gloves? I vote yes. I’m not much of a fan of gloves, but if I had to choose, I would wear a brightly colored pair. I love how they had an exciting punch of color to every look. Especially in the winter months, a nice pop of color is just what you need to liven up your look. Brightly colored gloves come in a variety of colors, materials and prices. For example, I own an inexpensive pair of bright red polar-fleece gloves. For a more sophisticated look, try another material such as leather (like the blue gloves pictured in the second example below).
Check out two examples below to see how you might wear brightly colored gloves.

1) Simple, neutral colors really make these red gloves pop. The gloves also help to pick up the red in the skirt. The color of the blue clutch is also reflected in the skirt. Add some neat accessories, cute ankle boots and your ready to go.

2) Bring a little spring into winter with this look. Pair a neutral coat and jean with a bright floral top. Add gloves for warmth, a pop of bright color and to help bring out the hues in the top. Add fuchsia colored accessories and some shoes, and your out the door.

  1. Haha, yeah. I’m pretty fond of it. :)It’s $34 at asos.com, if it cost less, I would so buy it. :PThanks for the comment.

  2. …i flipping LOVE that skirt!I wish I could wear gloves, but i tend to get them on and then have real trouble getting them off again. It really is a sight to behold. My friends used to find it hilarious. In fact it was one particular pair of gloves…now i only wear mittens!xoxo

  3. I love that skirt, too. :)Haha, yeah, I don’t have trouble with gloves, but I generally can’t handle having my hands covered for too long.
