What I’m giving away and a bit about the products:

“‘My name was Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. I was fourteen when I was murdered on December 6, 1973.’

So begins the story of Susie Salmon, who is adjusting to her new home in heaven, a place that is not at all what she expected, even as she is watching life on earth continue without her — her friends trading rumors about her disappearance, her killer trying to cover his tracks, her grief-stricken family unraveling. Out of unspeakable tragedy and loss, THE LOVELY BONES succeeds, miraculously, in building a tale filled with hope, humor, suspense, even joy.”

  1. I definitely try to buy products that are in packaging I can recycle. Our house has produced very little garbage for the landfill for years now. It’s just a conscious decision.

  3. Wearing clothes more than once, eating smaller potions to not waste food, recycling tabs for ronald mcdonald kids! @tristazollars

  4. I try hard to be “green”. I recycle everything I can. I buy used when I can to help reduce waste. I’m working on making my house as energy efficient as possible and I’m trying to use the car less and less.Jennifer L.jentam777 at gmail dot com

  5. We are super green at our house! Solar panels, all natural cleaning products, local organic food (meat, milk, produce, etc). Recycling anything and everything we can – buying 2nd hand clothing and toys….we’re really green around here 🙂

  6. I recycle, breastfeed, cloth diaper, grow an organic vegetable garden, and use reusable products when possible. klshrrs(at)gmail(dot)com

  7. We recycle aluminum cans, and other metal scrap. We raise our own chickens for eggs, and our own vegetables. I buy American, and try to buy only organic natural items.

  8. I am green by using reusuable water bottles and not using plastic bags for the groceries but reusuable ones.winit6 at hotmail dot com

  9. I am trying to be more greener… We use cloth instead of paper towels, try to use my own bag at the store instead of plastic, dropped the temp in the house…ramblingsandadventures(at)gmail(dot)com

  10. We are green because we recycle and cloth diaper :)bakergurl02 (at) yahoo (dot) com

  11. We have a cool old corn bin on our back porch that we keep our recyclables in. It looks neat, fits the decor and does a great job hiding our “stuff” until we put it out for the recycle man comes to pick it up. WE also take our own bags to the grocery store. I made everyone reusable bags last year for Christmas.Kathy

  12. I cloth diaper my son (I actually make cloth diapers and work from home) I recycle, I buy/support organic, fair trade items, I use all natural/organic cleaners, deodorant, toothpaste, body wash, etc.

  13. One of the ways that I am green is that I am a vegan (over ten years). I also recycle everything, I bring my own bags to the store, I use CFL bulbs, and I unplug electronics when they are not in use. the imagine tree at aol dot com

  14. We use cloth diapers and wipes as well as unpaper towels and we phased out all plastic ziplock type bags over the summer in addition to wanting to start composting and backyard chickens if I can convince hubby!thanksticklemetiffy at gmail dot com

  15. We recycled before recycling was cool. I only use re-usable shopping bags. I drive the carpool for my street, keeping emissions down. My kids wear and pass on hand-me-down clothes. I buy gently used furniture. We don’t use the heater in our house, piling on more blankets if needed instead. We conserve energy wherever we can – turn lights off, use Energy Star appliances, unplug items not in use. Basically, we LOVE being as green as possible, and we’re looking for new ways to help the environment every

  16. I carpool to work. I recycle and compost almost all of our trash. I’m in the process of getting solar paneling on my house. I try to be green whenever I can.
