Living: What I Ate- Thanksgiving Dinner

Just a short post with two pictures to show what my Thanksgiving was like for 2011. Read more to see the pictures. And Happy Belated Thanksgiving to those who celebrate this November Thanksgiving.

“Snack Bar”

For munching on during the day while we waited for the turkey to be done and for all the other goodies.

Veggie plate, chocolate covered fruit candies, meat plate, fruit bowl, cracker plate, cheese plate, bowl of olives, chips and dip, nuts, pickled herring (we’re pretty Norwegian), and sparkling apple juice.

Excuse the camera phone picture quality.

“Dinner Buffet”

This is our Turkey Day Feast, with the turkey being on the platter in the front right of the picture.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberries, yams, squash, green salad, and another sparkling apple juice. (Not pictured: dinner rolls.)

Again, excuse the camera phone picture quality.

What are YOU thankful for?

I’m thankful for my family, my sister, my friends, my amazing boyfriend, my cat and my belongings (I LOVE YOU computer and camera and phone and blankey).
I’m thankful that I live in a beautiful place (well, two beautiful places. Where my house is and where I go to school). I’m thankful for my grandma being able to financially support my schooling and that I am able to attend university.
I’m thankful for all of you! Without my readers, my blog wouldn’t be what it is today. So thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving! =)
