For review, I was sent three products from Olivia Rose Cosmetics skin care. I was sent a night cream, a day cream, and a facial wash cream. I’m always excited for the opportunity to give out any sort of cosmetic a try, as I have a bit of a cosmetic addiction, though you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at me, I wear so little but own so much.

The products I were sent are designed for dry, sensitive skin. I gave them a try right now in the summer, however I would more likely use these products in the winter when my skin gets dried out. During the summer months my skin tends to get more oily, though it’s still pretty sensitive so I like that factor. I was also quite pleased to learn about and the nasty chemicals that Olivia Rose Cosmetics choses not to use. You can see that list above in the ‘About’ section.

My first reaction to the product is going to be what my review is based on, as I have yet to use the products for a continual amount of time. I used the face wash last night and then followed with the night cream. This morning I used the day cream.

The face wash has a thin consistency and is to be applied to a damp face in upward, circular motions. The face wash created a very thin latter on the skin. After rinsing and patting dry, my face felt quite clean and refreshed. The wash didn’t really have a scent, as it is made without using artificial fragrances. It has a bit of an earthy tone, but it’s hardly noticeable.

The night time moisturizing cream is where I can tell it is a product designed for dry skin. They cream was a bit too oily for my summer skin, but it will be great for the winter months when my skin gets a bit more dried out. All that aside, I did like the cream.

The day time cream is much like the night time cream and features UV protection. The day time cream is still a bit oily for the summer, but it seems to absorb into my skin in a way that I can also use it in the summer.

I quite like the style of the packaging and easy of application as the products all have pump applicators. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a skin care line for dry, sensitive skin and anyone who like more pure ingredients.
