Fine Featherheads Fly Ties: “Tie your hair back in effortless style! The wide elastic band is simply perfect for all you Featherheads out there; the material will not tug or damage your hair or feathers in any way. Fly Ties are on the cutting edge of where comfort meets style!” ~FineFeatherheads.com/FlyTies
For review, I was sent a pack of Fly Ties by FineFeatheads.com. I chose the “Champaign” pack, as I liked the neutral colors that area similar to my hair tones. Fly Ties come in a wide range of colors, so you’re sure to find something you like. They’ve got bright colors, mixed color packs, tons of combinations.
Fly Ties are held together by a knot versus the traditional method, so they won’t break!
To the right is that the Fly Ties look like on my wrist with the tied end showing. They actually don’t look too bad being worn on the wrist all the time. Which is great for me, as I always have some sort of hair time with me in case I need to get my hair out of my face. I tend to get pretty warm when I’m working and often have to put my hair up in a bun.
As for how well this hair tie did in keeping my hair up? It did perfectly! And that’s impressive for me. I have pretty thick hair, and it’s difficult to find a hair tie that will hold my hair up.
Overall, I really like these hair ties quite a bit. I like that they basically cannot break, I like that they have a thicker band and hold up my hair well, and I like that they almost function as visually appealing jewelry on the wrist. I will continue to use these hair ties for everyday use. I would recommend these hair ties to anyone looking for a step up from your basic hair tie.
