Review: nuNAAT Brazilian Keratin Collection

“In a nutshell. It’s where we found some of the finest ingredients for our products. We searched the world over to unearth nature’s bounty–all kinds of nuts, berries, fruits and plants. We even picked up a few ancient secrets along the way. Inspired by the natural resources found in Brazil’s rainforest regions, nuNAAT® was founded.

We began fusing nature with modern science, creating an array of extraordinary hair care products. As a division of Brazil’s M. Cassab Group, we carefully crafted our line with the belief that–with the right combination of natural ingredients–everyone can have great hair. After trying our products, others began believing it too. And just like that, nuNAAT® was discovered.” ~ from nuNAAT.com

For review, I was sent the Brazilian Keratin Collection which features the five products you see above. They are (from left to right); intensive hair mask, deep/daily care conditioner, deep moisturizing/ daily care shampoo, liquid keratin leave in reconstructor, and serum ultra shine. You can view all these products and learn more about them individually at nuNAAT.com. The products all range in scents from ones that are nice and flowery to the shampoo which is a little “old lady” for me, but it is masked by the delicious scent of the conditioner.

I have somewhat long and thick hair that is very damaged. I’m always interested in trying out new shampoos and haircare products to see how they will help repair my damage, condition my hair, and prevent future breakage. I was excited to try all these products that are aimed towards dry hair. I hadn’t heard a whole lot about keratin hair care products, it was actually my sister who was pretty excited when I got these products in the mail. She did a lot of research on how to repair and care for your care before deciding to finally just cut it all off. She told me that keratin is one of the products that a lot of people look for in the haircare world, as keratin helps rebuild your hairs protein.

Here is an after shot of my hair. This is after using the shampoo and conditioner for a couple weeks, and using the other products once or twice each. Mind you this is also day old, unbrushed hair. However, I think it shows (at least to me) the shine these products added to my hair.

I have to say, I have noticed a bit of a difference in my hair. I’ve noticed that my hair seems a bit softer and shinier after using these products for a couple weeks now. I haven’t really noticed a decreased in damage, but my hair is pretty much irreparably broken and shattered, so I wasn’t expecting any product to help me. That being siad, I would certainly recommend these hair products to anyone. I think they would be great for prevention.

Have you heard of or used keratin hair products before?

sarah signature maegalI received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
