DreamEssentials offers a variety of products to help you fall asleep, stay asleep and wake feeling rested. One such product they offer is the Zeepo Strapless Sleep Mask. It’s the first of it’s kind. A strapless mask that keeps out the light without sliding off like a traditional mask. Continue on to read my review and to enter to win your own Zeepo mask!
For review, I was sent the Zeepo Strapless Sleep Mask you see pictured below. The sleep mask comes with a sheet of adhesive strips to use for attaching the mask to your face, the mask itself, and a Dream Essence essential oil to help promote sleep.
The Zeepo Mask uses thin strips of FDA-approved, hypo-allergenic, latex free, double-sided adhsive strips to attach to sleep mask to your face. The mask comes with two sheets of strips (enough strips for 18 nights, if you use two strips). You can add additional strips to the mask to help it conture more to your face.
I slept with the mask last night and found a couple things out. The first is that I would need more that just two strips. I roll around too much at night and if I were actually trying to block out a lot of light, some would be coming from around my nose unless I used more strips. I found that the tape did not irritate my skin, but I did try and pull it off in the middle of the night because I usually don’t sleep with anything touching my face. It would also kind of tug on my face anytime I rolled around.
Here is a picture of me pre-sleep last night. It wasn’t until I looked at the picture I realized my mask is technically upside down. Good thing it doesn’t really matter! Ah, it must have been sleep time, indeed.
Though I don’t think this is the sleep mask for me (I don’t think any sleep mask really is, luckily I don’t need one where I currently live), I would be great for some people. I’m actually going to give this mask to my Mom because I think it will work out well for her. She needed a sleep mask and her current one is always sliding off her face. She doesn’t roll around much at night, so I think this would work out just perfectly for her (though she would also need to use more that just two strips). I think most people would need five strips, in order to fully block out the light.
According to the company, the Dream Essence helps you to fall asleep. Simply put a dab on your temples, behind your ears and one dab on the back of your neck. I can’t say if it necessarily helped me fall asleep, but I did enjoy the aroma that it wrapped me in as I drifted off to sleep.
