Here comes another review and giveaway from Purex Insiders, this time for a Dial Hand Soap. Do you guys like these coupon giveaway posts? I hope you do, as I certainly enjoy reviewing the products and getting the chance to give you guys a coupon for a FREE bottle of whatever it might be. I don’t know about you, but I like the idea of being able to pick out your own scent in stores (even sneaking a sniff to see what you like best). Continue on to win one of five coupons for a free bottle of Dial Hand Soap!
Coconut Lime Verbena
This scent is very clean and crisp smelling. The name of this scent is quite appropriate, as I can very clearly smell the lime verbena and coconut scents individually. The scent seemed like what a mojito and a pina colada might smell like if they were combined as one.
Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar
This scent is a stronger, more perfume-based scent compared to the green soap. You can certainly smell the sweet, raspberry notes. Though it doesn’t say in the name, I swear I smell some sort of citrus– like a lemon or orange.
I’m going to certainly continue to photograph the backs of products. As I said before, I’m a label reader, so I figured that others like me would want to see the back of the packaging. I had a reader comment the other day about how she really appreciated that I photographed the back of packaging, so I’m certainly going to continue doing so.
I really liked both of these scents. If I had to pick just one, I wouldn’t! I think the Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar is great for the bathroom because I like something strongly scented for bathroom soap, not entirely sure why. I think the Coconut Lime Verbena would be great for the kitchen, I think the crisp and clean smell would suit the kitchen.
All in all, I quite like these soaps and look forward to using them up. I haven’t used them long enough to see if they are indeed as moisturizing as the name implies, but they feel nice on the hands. They also have those little blue massage balls that a lot of soaps have, I enjoy those.
This particular line of soaps also has another scent, Water Blossoms. I really want to try that!
