Continue on to read my review of this mask!
For review, I was sent a jar of the Dead Sea Mud Mask from the Pure product line. I was excited to try this mud mask because it’s been a long time since I’ve had a mud mask, and I’ve liked them in the past.
This mask have a nice, refreshing scent (you really smell the eucalyptus) and a smooth texture (with little exfoliating bits every now and then). It feels quite cool to apply to the face and is easy to evenly distribute across all your face.
I was SO excited to try this mud mask that I failed to factor in one component, I have quite sensitive skin. When I started to apply to mask to my face, it was just far too tingly for it to be enjoyable. (I imagine that it’s the eucalyptus that doesn’t agree with my skin). I had to wash it off before the full 10 minutes were up.
So while I won’t be using it as a full face mask, I have found that it works well in small doses as a sport treatment for me. I’m sure that the ingredients in this mask will help with my trouble areas, pulling out the toxins and soaking them in good dead sea mud.
To use this mask, you simply 1) apply a layer to the skin of your face and upper neck, 2) wait 10 minutes for it to dry and have fully absorbed into your skin, extracting impurities, 3) remove the mask by wetting and gently rubbing your face in a circular motion to exfoliate as your rinse, and 4) pat dry and repeat once a week. Be cautious of your delicate eye areas and mouth.
