Review: Ozeri Body Tape Measure and Body Fat Caliper

ozeri body tape measure and body fat caliper

Ozeri is a company that specializes in a number of household from kitchen items, to bathroom scales to health items. If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you’ve probably seen one of my other reviews for Ozeri. I really like the company, the individuals I work with there, and the products themselves. So as long as Ozeri has new products that interest me and you, you’ll continue to hear about them. Continue on to read my review.

For review, I was sent the body tape measure and body fat caliper you see pictured below. The body tape measure allows you to measure (in inches and centimeters) you arms, waist, legs, whatever you want to measure as a gauge of your progress as you get healthy. The body fat caliper is considered to be one of the most accurate ways to get a body fat measure. With that measurement you can use the chart provided to calculate your body fat percent and see whether you are “lean”, “ideal”, “average” or “above average” given your height and gender.

If you’re looking for a way to keep measure and track of your weight loss/ muscle growth (hey, it could work for either), I would recommend this duo. It was fun to try about, just to reassure myself I’m “ideal”. Which of course I clearly already knew… I hope that sarcasm was obvious. I plan (again, again) on starting to work out and get in shape, so it might be fun to take my various measurements and see the progress I end up making.

As I do, here is the information that came with these two items. The chart tells you how to interpret what you read on the caliper. You can click on the images to enlarge them, so you can actually read them.
