For review, I was sent a bottle of Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub Hand Soap. I’ve reviewed a couple of Dial Body Washes in the past (Marula Miracle Oil, Coconut Water Refreshing Mango, Vitamin Boost Wash), but it’s been over a year since I’ve reviewed a Dial Hand Soap (Deep Cleansing Moisturizing Hand Soap). So long in fact, I’d completely forgotten I’d ever done such a review! I always enjoy doing these types of reviews because 1) its something I’m going to need sooner or later, and 2) these reviews from Purex/ Dial always come with a giveaway for you all!
As you can see from the close up picture above, this soap contains little microspheres and sugar cane husk for added scrubbing. I hesitate to call the little orange spheres you see “micro beads” because they aren’t made of plastic and DO completely dissolved. It’s very important to me that they not be plastic beads like some companies use. I care not for harming the environment and clogging up our sewer.
I’m particularly looking forward to using this soap once I get more into this years gardening season! My Mom and I have already planted some lettuce and radishes in her greenhouse, but more will come once it warms up some more. And once it goes, I’ll be getting back into the dirt. It’s nice to have a hand soap with a little grit to it to help get the dirt off your hands.
Overall, I’ve enjoyed and continue to enjoy using this soap. I like the deep cleaning quality of it as well as the scrubbing aspect the sugar cane husk provides. I’ve always been a fan of Dial soaps, so I’m always open to trying a new scent, type or otherwise. And for something that you use daily, it’s nice to have something a little special.
