For review, I was sent the Ohuhu® Heavy Duty Gullwing Drying Rack,*. This drying rack is made with rust proof stainless steel and light blue plastic. It features two adjustable side wings and a number of drying options and arrangements.
Here is the review I posted to Amazon;
“While I hadn’t previously been interested in drying racks, with my recent move to Seattle, I knew I would be needing a drying rack of my own. And I’m quite please to have been chosen to review this one! I prefer it to the drying rack I’d been using at ‘home’.
I find that this drying rack as a number of places to hang various items and a number of options for me to choose from. It has places to dry shoes on the bottle, hang shirts on the top, enough room to lay items flat. I haven’t actually had to use it yet to dry clothes, but I’m looking forward to it. I tried it out with some dry clothes to see what I could fit and was glad to find it quite spacious.
Overall, I light this drying rack. I like the materials it’s made from and its color. I quite like that it folds up conveniently enough to stow away behind my bedroom door where it’s out of sight and out of the way until I need it again. I would recommend this drying rack to anything looking for one.”

Purex has gone and developed the laundry enhancing crystals you see in the picture above. These crystals, mine were in the Fresh Mountain Breeze scent, are intended to be added to your laundry as a way to add long lasting freshness to your clothes. Continue on to read my review and to enter to win your own Purex Crystals!
For review, I was sent the bottle of crystals you see above. As I mentioned, mine came in the Fresh Mountain Breeze scent. In the picture below you can see a close up of what the crystals looks like. They’re basically perfumed, blue bath salts. That’s at least what came to mind when I first saw them.
While I generally don’t like to add scents to my wash and clothing, I decided to give them a try when I washed my new sheets. I opted to use the recommended amount for my first experience with the crystals. They dissolved fairly quickly in the washing machine.
As for the result of adding these crystals to my laundry, I was pleased with the result. I was a bit worried that even using the recommended amount that my sheets would smell like a perfume bottle broke on them. Luckily, the scent was quite mild and pleasant. If you were someone who liked scented clothing, you could certainly add more to get an even stronger scent. My sheets still have a bit of the scent to them even after being slept in for several nights.

This post is going to be a bit different in that it will be exceedingly short, have a couple pictures, and conclude with a giveaway. I missed the deadline to have this post recognized through the Purex Insiders program, so I assume not take the time to write a full post when all you really want is pictures and a giveaway. 😉 Oops!
Continue on for more pictures, a brief review and a giveaway (win a package for yourself)!
For review, I was sent a package of Purex UltraPacks Liquid Laundry Detergent Plus Oxi with Dirt Lift Action. Phew, that’s a mouth full! Each package contains 18 little pouches for doing 18 loads of laundry.
Here is a close up of the little pouches. They’re actually kind of a pretty color! And I pleased with my iPhone’s camera skills. Not too shabby.
And for your interest, here is the back of the package. The front of the package is photographed at the top of the page, if you had forgotten.
All in all, I like them. They do the job, and make it super easy to get the right amount every time. I don’t think I’ll be switching over anytime soon (just because they do cost more than if you were to buy Purex liquid detergent in a bottle). But that said, they would be great for someone just learning to do laundry, someone who is always super busy, or someone who wants to ease of it.

is a laundry bar and stain remover that has been around since 1894, as the label says. When I first opened this package, my mom actually was shocked to see what it was. Apparently her mom use to use Fels-Naptha back in the day. She was quite humored that I was reviewing such a product. But good things last, isn’t that so? Continue on to read my review and to win your own Fels-Naptha bar!
For review, I was sent this laundry bar and stain remover that you see below. The packaging says that this product can be used as a stain pre-treatment or as a laundry additive to boost your detergents power. For a laundry boost, simply grate some of the bar into your washer with detergent and wash as you normally would. For a stain treatment, wet the stain and then rub it with the bar. Wait one minute before washing as normal.
I have yet to try the bar as an additive yet, but I thought that it was a fairly effective spot treatment. I was hoping it might be powerful enough to rid my white shirts of their yellow stain, but I thought that was asking too much. This product isn’t quite that strong. However, I have this white tank top that got a bit of red coloring in the armpit from wearing a new red shirt. I was impressed with the fact that the red is indeed less so that it was before. I wasn’t able to get a very good after picture, but I assure it that the slight red coloring you see in the image below is now gone.
As for the smell and it’s easy of use, I approve of both. The smell is very laundry room/ citrus -esque. I think it’s pretty pleasant smelling actually. It smells very clean. The bar shape is great for rubbing onto stained clothing and would be easy to grate for the laundry additive use. I will continue to use this as my stain remover until I’m out. And then, it’s very likely I will be repurchasing.
